
Apple Cider Jelly
Capture the essence of apple cider in a clear, sparkling jelly. It’s quick to make and perfect for fall breakfasts.
Ingredients
- 4 cups apple cider
- 4 cups sugar
- 1 package powdered pectin
Instructions
- Combine cider and pectin in a large pot. Bring to a full rolling boil over high heat.
- Add sugar all at once, stirring constantly. Return to a rolling boil for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and skim foam if necessary.
- Pour hot jelly into sterilized jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace.
- Seal and process in a boiling-water bath for 10 minutes.
Spread this sparkling jelly on toast or warm biscuits. It also makes a lovely glaze for pork chops.
