Tangerine Clementine Marmalade

A citrus lover’s dream, this marmalade combines tangerines and clementines for a sweet-tart spread bursting with sunshine.

Ingredients

  • 4 tangerines
  • 4 clementines
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice citrus fruits, removing seeds. Combine slices and water in a non-reactive pot and soak overnight.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until peels are tender.
  3. Add sugar and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches 220°F and gels.
  4. Fill sterilized jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace. Wipe rims and seal.
  5. Process in boiling water for 10 minutes. Cool before storing.

Enjoy this marmalade on toast, stirred into yogurt or as a glaze for roasted poultry.
