Tangerine Clementine Marmalade
A citrus lover’s dream, this marmalade combines tangerines and clementines for a sweet-tart spread bursting with sunshine.
Ingredients
- 4 tangerines
- 4 clementines
- 4 cups water
- 4 cups sugar
Instructions
- Thinly slice citrus fruits, removing seeds. Combine slices and water in a non-reactive pot and soak overnight.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until peels are tender.
- Add sugar and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches 220°F and gels.
- Fill sterilized jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace. Wipe rims and seal.
- Process in boiling water for 10 minutes. Cool before storing.
Enjoy this marmalade on toast, stirred into yogurt or as a glaze for roasted poultry.
